{"id":107,"date":"2020-03-14T01:52:17","date_gmt":"2020-03-14T01:52:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.familydentistcarrollton.com\/blog\/?p=107"},"modified":"2020-03-14T02:13:53","modified_gmt":"2020-03-14T02:13:53","slug":"covid-19-preparedness-plans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.familydentistcarrollton.com\/blog\/2020\/03\/covid-19-preparedness-plans\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID \u2013 19 PREPAREDNESS PLANS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.familydentistcarrollton.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/covid-featured-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-123\" width=\"300\" height=\"236\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the recent developments around\ncorona virus (COVID-19), its more critical than ever that we work together to\npreserve access to care for those who need it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this in mind, Aegis Dental is taking\nproactive steps to ensure the safety of our patients, providers and practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Aegis Dental, as always we follow\nthe universal infection control protocol \u2013 including disinfecting all the\nsurfaces, sterilizing all the instruments, hand washing for 20 seconds,\npersonal protective equipment, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to mitigate community spread,\nkindly quarantine yourselves if you have the following <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you have visited or been in close contact with anyone who\nvisited the places highly corona infected areas in the past 14 days<\/li><li>If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms \u2013 fever,\ncough or shortness of breath<\/li><li>If you have been in contact with someone with or suspected corona\nvirus or pneumonia.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a precaution, you are welcome to\npostpone any elective procedures, until this Pandemic is under control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CDC recommends\nusing \u201csocial distancing\u201d whenever possible as an effective way of\ndecreasing the likelihood of transmitting coronavirus. With that advice in\nmind, kindly arrive only on time for your appointments, rather than too early,\nsince that will minimize the amount of time you spend in your waiting room or\nreception area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are closely monitoring the situation and\nfollowing the CDC and American Dental Association guidelines.
